Woodland Caribou
 
The harsh, mountainous terrain of the Washington-Idaho border is the home of the U.S.'s "endangered" woodland caribou. Healthy populations exists in Alaska and British Columbia. Dense forest provide this hoofed animal with food and shelter. Tall,widely spread antlers and shaggy mane beneath the neck characterize the male of the species.


 
California Sea Lion
Among the most graceful of marine mammals, the sea lion twists and turns though the water with effortless grace, moving with great speed in a manner that resembles underwater flight.



 
Asian Elephant
The Asian elephant is slightly smaller in size and smaller ears than the African elephant. Long-Living and intelligent, it has been domesticated by humans for the last 5,500 years.
